Welcome to our new website. We are a professional organization of Orthopaedic nurses and our chapter, The Joint
Connection (known in some circles as the Margaritaville Chapter) is a part of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses.
We are fiercely devoted to caring for patients with orthopaedic problems. Some of us are relatively new to orthopaedics and
some have worked in this specialty for 25 years. Our chapter is quite diversified in the types of patients we care for.
We're in management, office practice, total joint, ortho oncology, sports medicine, hand, spine, trauma, inpatient and outpatient
settings.
Our chapter meetings are usually combined with a speaker and of course FOOD. As we have our own provider number, we offer
CEUs to those attending our sessions (all free of charge).
We are currently planning our meetings for the next year. When our schedule has been completed, we will publish the calendar
on this site.
Our Mission
As a Chapter of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses, our Mission is to advance the quality of musculoskeletal health
care by promoting excellence in research, education, and nursing practice.
